Dendrochronology (or tree-ring dating) is the scientific method of dating tree rings (also called growth rings) to the exact year they were formed. 

We can answer questions like:
  •  How old a tree is, when a tree was damaged;
  • When it likely became decayed;
  • Determine if an area of land has been eroded if it was populated with trees or higher plants(shrubs);
  • When and if the tree began to lean;
  • When it was first decayed;
  • If there were flood events, and how often;
  • Other questions arise when there is no other evidence of what has occurred in an area.
We also provide services for identifying wood genus and, in some cases, the species.
